Offering Friday Lenten Fish Fry
Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church is holding a series of Lenten fish fires every Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church located at the corner of Highway 17 and Eighth Avenue North in North Myrtle Beach. The fish fries are held every Friday through the Lenten season ending on March 26. Everyone is welcome. The meal consists of perch filets, potatoes, hush puppies, homemade Cole slaw, three bean salad, bread, buns, tea, coffee and lemonade. If you do not eat fish a pasta dish with marinara sauce is also being served. You can dine in or take-out and the cost is $7 for adults. The ladies of the church will offer a variety of desserts for sale and Holy Trinity Catholic School's HSA will be fundraising for the school by selling milk chocolate candy bars. Concert for Haiti Announced
A Haiti relief concert will be held on Sunday, March 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the House of Blues Concert Hall. Four bands will play live along with several other artists. NMB Guild Presents Tea and Symphony Event
The Long Bay Symphony Guild will present its Tea and Symphony event to benefit the Long Bay Symphony and its Youth Orchestra on Sunday, March 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Burroughs & Chapin Museum in Myrtle Beach. Tickets are $30 with a tax-deductible donation of $20. Spring Festival & BBQ at First Baptist of NMB
The First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach will host their 11th Annual Spring Festival & BBQ on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds form the event will be used to support the church’s Child Development Center.
