Public Safety to launch sock drive for homeless

The North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department is launching a “Sock It To Winter” campaign aims to provide new socks to youths and adults who are homeless.
Between Feb. 1-29, the North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department, in conjunction with Sea Haven, Inc., will be collecting new socks for youths and adults who are homeless. You can drop off new socks at the North Myrtle Beach Fire Station closest to you. See locations listed below.
Any style or color of socks will be accepted, sizes youth to adult. Please donate new socks only.
The fire station locations are: Station 1 - 1015 Second Ave. S.; Station 2 - 307 Sea Mtn. Hwy.; Station 3 - 803 33rd Ave. S.; Station 4 - 5345 Little River Neck Road; and Station 5 - 4740 Barefoot Resort Bridge Road.
