Dashing Through the Glow event returns

The City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department invites you to kick off the holiday season at the annual Dashing Through the Glow event on Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 22, at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex.

Be among the first to experience the magic of the holidays with this approximately two-mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show—a dazzling holiday spectacle featuring millions of twinkling lights and enchanting displays. Participants are encouraged to get in the holiday spirit by wearing their most festive attire, with prizes awarded for the Best Dressed Individual and the Best Dressed Group.

At the finish line, participants will arrive at Santa’s Village, where they can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and explore fun activities to keep the holiday cheer going.

Adults (12 and up) are $25 and Youth (11 and under) are $10.

Each registration includes a finisher medal and hot chocolate in Santa’s Village. Children in strollers may participate at no cost with a paying adult (no medal included).

Event start time is at 7 p.m.

Participants must present a printed ticket at the park gate for entry. Only registered participants will be permitted entry. Spectators are not allowed inside the park during the event.
