Seasonal short term rental trash collection ends

The City of North Myrtle Beach has concluded its seasonal short-term rental trash collection schedule this past weekend.

Beginning this week, trash from short-term rental properties will be collected on each property’s regular scheduled pick-up day. Recycling services will also continue but only on the designated regular pick-up day.

Property managers are encouraged to remind renters of their assigned trash and recycling collection days and times at check-in.

Residents and visitors are asked to keep all trash contained within approved receptacles and avoid placing bins where they block sidewalks or pedestrian access.
