The City of North Myrtle Beach is excited to kick off the holiday season with a variety of festive events. They invite you to join them for a lineup of activities designed to spread cheer and bring our community together.
Dashing Through The Glow is on Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 22.
Be among the first to experience the magic of the lights during this approximate two-mile, non-competitive walk/run through The Great Christmas Light Show. Dress in your most festive holiday attire—prizes will be awarded for the best dressed individual and family.
The route winds through the dazzling light displays and finishes at Santa’s Village, where participants can enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate and join in on fun holiday activities.
Please note that only registered participants with a ticket will be admitted into the Park and Sports Complex for this event.
The Great Christmas Light Show is from Monday, November 24, until Tuesday, December 30.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, this drive-thru light show features more than two million lights shining brightly along a two-mile route through the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. With over 500 custom-made displays—including some towering up to 55 feet tall, and at least 40 animated scenes—there’s holiday magic around every turn. This year’s expanded show includes many brand-new lights and displays.
The Great Christmas Light Show is open nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Admission is $20 per standard vehicle when Santa’s Village is closed and $25 per vehicle when Santa’s Village is open, $50 for oversized vehicles and $100 for charter bus all nights.
