The North Myrtle Beach High School track teams joined Loris, Aynor and Carolina Forest in the Panthers meet on Wednesday, March 18.
The Chiefs did not send complete teams to the meet but there were some positive individual finishes by members of the boys and girls teams.
For the girls team Halle Morris won the 200 meter dash. Madison Vereen was first in the 400 meter dash. Israfel Thomason was first in the 100 meter hurdles and Morris won the 400 meter hurdles. The Chiefs 4×100 meter relay team finished third. Thomason also won the high jump.
The boys team had a second-place finish by Parker Caugh and fourth by Christopher Hardee in the 1600 meter run. Nick Davis was fourth in the 3200 meter run. The 4×800 meter relay team was second. Nigel Vereen was third in the discus and Jasaun Bellamy second in the javelin, with Jimmy McCullough third in that event.
Track team members were scheduled to compete in the Bob Jenkins Qualifier on Monday, March 23, and had a home meet with Aynor and Loris on Wednesday, March 25.
