Accommodations tax funding opportunities

The North Myrtle Beach Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee is currently canvassing the community for projects that might be funded by Accommodations Tax monies for FY2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).

Project ideas must be submitted in writing and received by the close of business (5 p.m.) on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Ideas or projects must be directed towards:

Advertising and Promotion of Tourism; Promotion of the Arts and Cultural Events; Construction, Maintenance and Operation of Facilities for Civic and Cultural Activities; the Criminal Justice System; Law Enforcement; Fire Protection; Solid Waste Collection and Health Facilities when required to serve tourists and tourist facilities; Public Facilities – such as restrooms, dressing rooms, parks and parking lots, tourist shuttle transportation, and control and repair of waterfront erosion.

Only organizations that are registered as non-profit entities are eligible to receive funding.
