After a brief retirement, Pastor Mike Lawing founded Restoration Church on October 1, 2023, after receiving a call from the Lord to continue his ministry. The first meeting was held in McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. The church met at Goodfellas until a permanent location was acquired in May 2024.
Services began at 86 Cloverleaf Drive, Suite 206, in Longs. S.C., on May 19, 2024. The church is located inside the Bingo Plaza on Highway 9, one mile past Bell and Bell GMC. The church welcomes everyone to join them every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. You will receive a powerful message. A Bible Study is also held every Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
The church is actively pursuing a music director. If you are interested, contact Pastor Mike Lawing at 704-614-6192. They have a beautiful baby grand, just waiting on your arrival.
Two exciting events are coming up in the next few weeks. Mark your calendar now. Deb Browning and Marlisa Kay Small will be performing a free gospel concert on Saturday, August 30, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, they will be hosting their two-year homecoming starting at 10 a.m. with Gary Lowder singing some beautiful gospel music. Grant Lawing and Pastor Mike will give powerful messages. Grant is Pastor Mike’s 23 year old grandson, and he is an amazing speaker. You do not want to miss this as you will be truly blessed. A luncheon will follow the service.
