Cross Country —
The Chiefs boys and girls varsity cross country teams joined teams from eight other schools for a meet September 10th at Grand Park in Market Commons.
The boys team finished eighth in their race. St. James was first, Myrtle Beach second and Carolina Forest third.
Fenna Hollo led the Lady Chiefs to victory as she took first place in the 5K race. Robyn Walsh was third, Aleha Lang was sixth, Ravyn Walsh ninth and Lucy Stalvey fifteenth. The Chiefs had 34 points for first place. St. James was second with 64 points and Socastee third with 84 points.
Chiefs Swim —
The Lady Chiefs swim team won the St. James Invitational meet last Saturday in Myrtle Beach. The boys team battled for a second place finish.
Girls Tennis —
The Lady Chiefs tennis team continues its winning season. Recently the girls beat Green Sea Floyds 7-0, won over Socastee 6-1 and on Monday beat Southeastern Homeschool 5-4. The Chiefs have two home matches this week. They played Carolina Forest Tuesday and St. James today. The Chiefs had a 6-1 record entering this week’s matches.
