John Frisby has been selected as this week’s Dew’s NMB Chiefs Leadership Award winner.
A senior this year, John continues to shine as both a student leader and the newly appointed Commanding Officer of North Myrtle Beach High School’s NJROTC program. John stands out in the classroom for his diligence, respect and positive attitude, always prepared and willing to lend a helping hand to peers in need. His leadership extends far beyond the classroom.
Over the summer, he guided cadets from multiple high schools as part of the Leadership Academy cadre at The Citadel, led basic leadership training at Parris Island and commanded 50 cadets during NJROTC Mini Boot Camp —successfully welcoming 14 new freshmen into the program. Bright, hardworking and compassionate, John Frisby exemplifies the qualities of a leader with a promising future ahead.
