Parking registration now open for NMB

Parking registration for North Myrtle Beach residents and non-resident property owners is now open. The city’s paid parking season begins March 1, 2026, and ends October 31, 2026. North Myrtle Beach residents and non-resident property owners may register online or in person at 904 Second Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building). The parking office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Paid parking will be enforced via license plate recognition. Your vehicle license plate will be your digital permit. Basketball teams split in region games with Myrtle Beach

The Lady Chiefs started the evening with a 61-18 domination of their region rival. The Chiefs, who won their first matchup with the Seahawks in Myrtle Beach by a 54-47 score, had the tables turned in the second game and lost 50-21. Chamber celebrates new headquarters
