Parking registration now open for NMB

Parking registration for North Myrtle Beach residents and non-resident property owners is now open.

The city’s paid parking season begins March 1, 2026, and ends October 31, 2026.

North Myrtle Beach residents and non-resident property owners may register online or in person at 904 Second Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building). The parking office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m.

Paid parking will be enforced via license plate recognition. Your vehicle license plate will be your digital permit. Vehicle parking passes must be renewed each year.

For residents to complete their registration, you will need the following:

A driver’s license with a North Myrtle Beach residential address.

Current (not expired) vehicle or golf cart registration with same residential address.

New golf cart registrations will be in-person at the parking office.

Golf cart registration renewals will need the SCDMV Registration Number.

For non-resident property owners  to complete their registration, you will need the following:

A valid driver’s license.

Current (not expired) vehicle registration (any state) or golf cart registration (must be registered with SCDMV at their North Myrtle Beach property address).

Proof of North Myrtle Beach property ownership (city staff can locate the Horry County paid property tax receipt online at the parking office).
