Registration for NMB City Election closes

On Friday, September 5, 2025, at noon, registration to run as a candidate in the upcoming North Myrtle Beach city election closed.

The upcoming election  will take place on Tuesday, November 4.

During this election, the following North Myrtle Beach offices shall be included: Mayor, Council Member At-Large, Council Member Ocean Drive Ward  and Council Member Windy Hill Ward

All offices during this election will be held from November 2025 until November 2029.

Candidates for North Myrtle Beach Mayor are Troy Spencer, Mayor Pro Tem J. Baldwin and Mike Mahaney.

Candidates for City Council At-Large are Trey Skidmore, Tony Warren Jr. and David Weitzman.

Bubba Collins is the only candidate running for the Ocean Drive Ward of city council.

Canidates running for City Council Windy Hill Ward are Jeri McCumbee and Jolene Puffer.

If you wish to vote in the upcoming election, you must register no later than Saturday, October 4, 2025. Registration can be completed online at www.scvotes.gov or call the Horry County Board of Voter Registration at 843-915-5440.

Early voting will be available from Monday, October 20, 2025, through Friday, October 31, 2025. Offices will be closed on weekends. Early voting takes place at the Horry County Voter Registration Office located at 1515 Fourth Avenue in Conway. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voting will be held on Tuesday, November 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

Cherry Grove 1 Precinct-Chapel by the Sea Church (1051 Sea Mountain Highway).

Cherry Grove 2 Precinct-Fire Station #4 (5345 Little River Neck Road).

Crescent Beach Precinct-J. Bryan Floyd Community Center (1030 Possum Trot Road).

Dunes 1 Precinct-Temporary-Barefoot Resort Conference Ctr (2250 Premier Resort Boulevard).

Nixons 1 Precinct-North Myrtle Beach High School (3750 Sea Mountain Highway, Little River).

Ocean Drive 1 Precinct-Fire Station #1 (1015 2nd Avenue South).

Ocean Drive 2 Precinct-NMB Historical Museum (799 2nd Avenue North).

Ocean Drive 3 Precinct-St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church (801 11th Avenue North).

Tilly Swamp-Temporary-Barefoot Resort Conference Center (2250 Premier Resort Boulevard).

Wampee Precinct-Riverside Elementary School (1283 Highway 57 South, Little River).

Windy Hill 1 Precinct-Windy Hill Fire Station #3 (801 33rd Avenue South).

Windy Hill 2 Precinct-Barefoot Resort Conference Ctr (2250 Premier Resort Boulevard).
