The City of North Myrtle Beach will host its second information gathering event at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center on Tuesday, September 30, at 6 p.m. to hear directly from Short-Term Rental (STR) operators and managers.
The purpose of this event is to better understand the challenges STR operators and managers face and to begin identifying potential shared solutions. This is not a policy hearing and no ordinance changes are being proposed at this event.
Community members who operate or manage short-term rentals and would like to speak at the event may complete the speaker registration form. Registration will remain open through Thursday, September 25, to allow time for the city to verify business licenses. Please note that registering does not guarantee a speaking slot; however, the city will do its best to accommodate as many speakers as possible.
Anyone planning to attend is encouraged to RSVP. RSVPs are not required for entry but will help the city plan for the event.
The information collected through these forms will help the city determine how this event will be structured.
Contact the Planning and Development Department with any questions at 843-280-5560.
