The North Myrtle Beach High School varsity boys and girls soccer teams are getting off to a good start in early season matches.
The boys team has a 4-0 record so far. They won two matches in the Nash Tournament, 2-1 over Socastee and 2-1 over Conway. Last week the Chiefs beat Loris 3-1 and then were on the road for a 1-0 victory over West Florence.
The girls team is 2-1 before this week’s action against Ashley. The girls won their first match 7-1 in the Nash Tournament but lost 6-2 against Camden in their second tournament match. The Lady Chiefs traveled to Loris last Wednesday and won 5-0. They traveled to Wilmington Tuesday for their match with Ashley.
