The City of North Myrtle Beach is updating its Comprehensive Plan, a long-range policy document that will guide decision-making and development for the next five to ten years. To ensure the plan reflects the vision and priorities of the community, the city invites residents and business owners to participate in a series of public engagement opportunities.
Please note the updated times and locations for the upcoming drop-in sessions:
The second opportunity for input will be a Public Engagement Drop-In on Thursday, September 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Barefoot Resort and Golf Clubhouse at 4980 Barefoot Resort Bridge Road.
The third opportunity for input will be a Public Engagement Drop-In on Wednesday, October 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the FFA Camp Gym at 1069 FFA Circle Road.
Each session will provide an overview of the Comprehensive Plan update process and give attendees a chance to share their ideas on important topics, such as housing, growth, land use, transportation, economic development, recreation and quality of life.
The Comprehensive Plan Community Survey, open now through Wednesday, October 8, provides another way for community members to offer valuable feedback. This feedback will help shape the vision and priorities for the future of North Myrtle Beach.
The survey can be accessed online. Paper copies are available at the Planning and Development counter inside the North Myrtle Beach City Hall.
