The North Myrtle Beach girls varsity cross country team won last Saturday’s Carolina Forest meet held at Myrtle Beach.
The Lady Chiefs won on the strength of four Chiefs finishing in four of the top five positions as they crossed the finish line in the 5K race.
Fenna Hollo won the race, followed by Robyn Walsh and Ravyn Walsh in second and third. Aleha Lang came in fifth, Lucy Stalvey was twelfth and Mandy Davis was twenty-third.
The Chiefs were competing against five other area schools: Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, Aynor, Conway and Carvers Bay.
The top three NMB boys runners were Jeremani Forant-Bernard, Christopher Hardee and Parker Caugh.
The Chiefs cross country teams have their Home Meet Number 1 this Saturday at 5 p.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex.
