Corbin Delamore wins region golf championship

Sophomore Corbin Delamore won the 5A Region 6 individual golf championship yesterday with a 74 score in a playoff. Delamore is the second seeded player on the Chiefs team that came in fourth in the team championship.

His score got him into a playoff which he won for the region individual title. The Chiefs team shot a 337 as a foursome. Jacob Smith shot an 88, Braiden Brunson a 90, and Thomas Anderson an 85. The Chiefs were fourth with their 337 score.

St. James won the team championship with a 319. Myrtle Beach was second with 320 and Carolina Forest was third with 330.
