North Myrtle Beach High School head football coach Greg Hill resigned from his position as reported in many local media Monday. Horry County Schools Director of Communications and Community Engagement Lisa Bourcier released a statement Monday.
“Coach Hill made the decision to step down due to personal reasons. North Myrtle Beach High School would like to thank Coach Hill for his hard work, leadership, and contributions to the program. The school will begin the search for a new head coach following the state championship in early December.”
Hill has been on the Chiefs football staff for nine years. He served as the defensive coordinator for five years before becoming head coach over the last four years. The team’s record for the Chiefs varsity was 12-32 in his four seasons as head coach.
