The 17th Annual Rotary Club of Little River 5K Run was held on Saturday, November 1, along the historic waterfront district in Little River. While it was a little chilly, it was the perfect running weather.

This year, there were over 100 runners.  Overall winners were Craig Wahl from Myrtle Beach in the men’s category with 19:04.78 and Lyra Ice from Conway with 25.06.12 in the women’s category.  There was a great diversity of age groups.

Ed Murray kicked off the event and Lisa Moore sang the national anthem. The Little River Rotarians staffed the registration table as well as manned the route.

As part of this event, the Rotary Club of Little River presented a $1,000 check to the Grand Strand Running Club scholarship fund.
