On this year’s Veterans Day, River Park Adult Living of Little River honored ten military veteran members of the River Park Assisted Living facility with a Quilt of Valor. The quilts were made by and presented by members of the Myrtle Beach Shorebirds chapter of the Quilts of Valor foundation. The quilts are intended to provide relief and comfort for the receiving veterans.

River Park Community Manager Diane Wenner wecomed the many family members and guests and then led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance to open the ceremony.

There were several members of the North Myrtle Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10804 and Auxiliary there to honor and support the veterans being honored.
