North Myrtle Beach High School Senior Trevor Carter received a $2,000 scholarship award in Columbia, S.C., from Garden Club of South Carolina President, Betty Wise Jackson.

Trevor will major in engineering and horticulture at the University of South Carolina. His award winning essay also won him a $1,000 scholarship from the local Driftwood Garden Club in North Myrtle Beach.

This bright young man has excelled in his studies and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
