North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation invites residents and visitors to experience the best of the local dining scene during Taste Around NMB, a self-guided restaurant tour happening Friday, May 1, through Wednesday, May 27.
This month-long culinary celebration encourages participants to explore a variety of partnering restaurants across North Myrtle Beach while earning entries for exciting grand prizes.
Participants can purchase a $2 restaurant card (one per person, ages 21+) beginning May 1 through May 27. Starting May 1, diners can visit participating restaurants listed on the card, enjoying meals and collecting receipts along the way.
For each restaurant visited, participants will; save their receipt (dated between May 1–27, 2026) and mark off the restaurant on their card.
All completed cards, receipts and tickets must be submitted by 4 p.m. on May 29, 2026, at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center located at 1030 Possum Trot Road in North Myrtle Beach.
Each restaurant visited earns participants one entry into the grand prize drawing. Bonus entries include: one additional entry for every five restaurants visited and ten bonus entries for completing the entire restaurant card.
Two grand prizes will be awarded, each featuring gift certificates from participating restaurants and additional sponsor-provided prizes. Winners will be drawn on Monday, June 1, and notified by phone. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn on Friday, June 12, . Winners must be 21 or older and present a valid ID when claiming their prize.
