The City of North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation Department has announced its 2026 Baseball and Softball All-Star teams, with athletes selected to represent North Myrtle Beach in upcoming district tournament competition.
All-Star teams were selected in the 8U, 10U, and 12U baseball divisions, as well as the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 15U softball divisions. These teams will compete for district championships and the opportunity to advance to their respective state tournaments.
North Myrtle Beach baseball teams compete under the Diamond Youth Baseball (DYB) organization, while softball teams participate through the South Carolina Athletic Programs (SCAP). Players were selected through a voting process conducted by head coaches from each league following the regular season.
After team selections, players begin preparing for postseason competition with two to three weeks of practices before facing some of the top recreation programs in the region. District tournaments will feature teams from communities including Myrtle Beach, Aynor, Georgetown, Pawleys Island, Marion, Mullins, and others throughout eastern South Carolina.
District champions will advance to state tournament competition, where they will face other district winners from across the state. Baseball teams that capture a South Carolina State Championship will also earn the opportunity to compete in the prestigious DYB World Series.
North Myrtle Beach enters the postseason with plenty of momentum after a historic 2025 campaign. Last spring, the 12U Softball All-Star team captured the South Carolina State Championship, while the 12U Ozone Baseball All-Star team completed a remarkable 17-0 postseason run to claim the DYB World Series Championship.
Tournament action begins June 5 as the 8U Baseball All-Star team travels to Aynor to open district play against Pawleys Island in a double-elimination tournament that will continue throughout the weekend.
The 12U Ozone Baseball All-Stars will begin play on June 8 at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex, where they will host Aynor in the opening round of their district tournament. The tournament will continue throughout the week.
The 10U Baseball All-Stars will open district tournament competition on June 12 against Aynor in Pawleys Island.
Softball district tournaments begin June 11, with the 8U Softball All-Stars taking on Hartsville in Dillon. The 10U Softball team earned a first-round bye and will begin play on June 12 in Mullins against the winner of Marlboro County and Mullins.
The 12U Softball All-Stars also received a first-round bye and will open tournament play on June 12 in Pamplico against the winner of Myrtle Beach and Dillon.
The 15U Softball All-Stars will begin their tournament run on June 12 in Dillon, where they will face Johnsonville.
The North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation Department wishes all of its All-Star teams the best of luck as they represent the city and compete for district and state championships.
