North Myrtle Beach Times Serving our Community and the Grand Strand for over 50 years

On October 4, 2025, the Knights of Columbus, Council 7122 and 7122 Columbiettes will have a Doo Wop Dance Party featuring the group “Forever Doo Wop”. This four-member group, extremely popular in the Horry County area, performs songs from the 50s and 60s, including doo wop, rhythm and blues and beach music, with all the rich harmonies of the time.
The event will be held at the parish hall of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on October 4. The cost will be $30 per person and will include food and refreshments.
All are encouraged to dress in 50’s/60’s attire for a great evening of music and dancing. The event is open to the public. Tickets are available for purchase at the office of the church located at 1100 Eighth Avenue North in North Myrtle Beach on Monday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Sunshine Cleaners located at 710 Sixth Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach; or text John Moeller at 410-507-1655.
All proceeds from the event will be used to support a wide range of community focused activities provided by Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
