City holds 21st Annual Irish Italian Festival

Mike Mahaney was in attendance at the 21st Annual Irish Italian International Festival last Saturday on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach to campaign for mayor.
It was a great day at the International Irish Italian Festival as Jeri McCumbee was campaigning in full force. McCumbee stated that many citizens were interested in what our focus would be moving forward. Obviously growth was on the minds of many. Great conversations and ideas were exchanged. McCumbee is running for city council for the Windy Hill Ward.

The City of North Myrtle Beach hosted the 21st Irish Italian International Festival last Saturday on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.

Despite a forecast of rain, the threat of a tropical storm and declarations of state of emergency by area municipalities, people still turned out to enjoy some green beer, eat and enjoy music from two separate stages set up on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.

The crowd was sparse early, but by noon, the crowd had arrived and enjoyed the rest of the day’s festivities. It was still another successful festival for the Irish, the Italians and lots of residents and visitors to our area.
