The Knights of Columbus, Council 7122 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach sponsors a yearly project which helps to provide coats for kids in need of a coat in the winter months. The council recently distributed or are in the process of distributing coats for kids in the North Myrtle Beach Community. Students at the following schools are the beneficiaries of this endeavor:
Riverside Elementary School, Ocean Drive Elementary School, Waterway Elementary School, North Myrtle Beach Middle School and Holy Trinity Catholic School.
The council, under the direction of Ron Palamar, has strived over the years to ensure as many coats as possible are made available to children in need. While the knights are committed to this most needed program, the cost incurred has become most substantial. Each year the Knights take up a collection at Boulineau’s to help alleviate the cost of such a project. However, the funds required are more than those received. If you would like to assist in this most worthwhile project, please send a check made out to The Knights of Columbus, Council 7122. The check should be mailed to:
Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 Eighth Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29582.
Please make note in the memo section “Coats for Kids”. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by the Council.
