Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes starts season

By Tracy Sauer

Friday, December 5, 2025, will reflect a three-decade local tradition of community spirit and the joyful start of the holiday season.

That night, the GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club invites residents and visitors alike to the 30th Annual Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes, an evening where private residences across North Myrtle Beach and Little River open their doors, each transformed into a festive, imaginative display of holiday décor. Behind all the festivity is purpose: the Woman’s Club uses the proceeds from this event to support local charities.

From 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., attendees will set off at their own pace discovering what organizers describe as “more than a tour; it’s a celebration of togetherness.”

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the tour — an important milestone for a tradition that has grown into a cornerstone of the North Myrtle Beach holiday calendar. Don’t forget to bring cash for the very popular Santa’s Stash Raffle. Tickets for the tour begin at $30 if purchased in advance ($40 at the door). They went on sale November 5,, at select local locations:

Purpleologist at Barefoot Landing (4850 U.S. 17, North Myrtle Beach).

Hope Taylor and Company (312 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach).

Destination North Myrtle Beach (1521 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach).

Tickets can also be purchased online for $35 at https://www.northmyrtlebeachwomansclub.org/fundraisers/tour-of-homes/. Online sales end at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 4.

See how others capture the holiday spirit with bold and inventive design—lighted staircases, themed rooms and whimsical touches you might adopt yourself. The 30th Annual Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes isn’t just a showcase of beautiful interiors—it’s a story of tradition and community in the glow of the holiday season.

Mark your calendar for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The holidays begin here.
