The Rotary Club of Little River welcomed Ann Mayfield from Future Farmers of America on Wednesday, April 15, at noon at the River Hills Golf and Country Club in Little River. FFA offers diverse opportunities for youth and Ann explained all the diverse opportunities students have.
While most of us think of FFA for students who want to be farmers, FFA also welcomes members who aspire to other careers such as teachers, doctors, scientist and business owners.
FFA is also committed to the individual student, focusing on servant leadership while allowing them to explore their own interest in a broad range of agricultural career pathways.
Ann also shared her family’s history in agriculture and her passion to help develop leaders for our next generation.
