Movies at McLean returns with patriotic theme about celebrating America’s 250th

The North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the 2026 lineup for its popular Movies at McLean series, featuring a special patriotic theme in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

Residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy a series of free outdoor movie nights at McLean Park. Each film in this year’s lineup highlights American spirit, adventure and history, making it a perfect way for the community to come together and celebrate this historic milestone.

The 2026 movie schedule is as follows: May 8, National Treasure; June 12, An American Tail: Fievel Goes West; July 10, Captain America; August 14, Cars; and September 11, World Trade Center.

All movies will begin at 7 p.m. at McLean Park located at 93 Oak Drive in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating. Concessions will be available for purchase, provided by the North Myrtle Beach Lions Club.

The Movies at McLean series is free and open to the public, offering a fun and relaxing way for families and friends to gather outdoors. This program is part of the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department’s ongoing community events and is proudly sponsored by HTC.
