Regina Norris Doyle, 57, of Loris passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at Regency Hospital in Florence. Mrs. Doyle was born on Feb. 25, 1962, in Loris, to the late U.T. Norris and the late Joann Carter. She worked as a seamstress with Loris Manufacturing and was a Baptist. Survivors include her two sons, Brandon Soles and Jason Fowler, both of Loris; a sister, Tammy Norris Burns of Loris; three grandchildren, Jasmine Soles, Savannah Soles and Gracelynn Soles; a niece, Traci Mincey and a great-niece, Caitlynn Mincey both of Loris,. Master Sgt. Phillip D. Chaffee, U.S. Air Force, Ret., of North Myrtle Beach passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on Aug. 19, 1933, in Blachly, OR, he was the son of the late Lawrence G. and Ellen L. Doolittle Chaffee. Mr. Chaffee served his country proudly for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force.  He owned and operated Phil’s Lock & Key in North Myrtle Beach from 1983 to 2001. Lula Myrtle Prince Hughes Dabaghian, 93, of Awendaw passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at her home in Awendaw. Mrs. Dabaghian was born on Oct. 20, 1926, in Loris, S.C., to the late Rufus Prince and the late Lula Gracie Wade Prince. She was a homemaker and attended Awendaw Baptist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Gilbert Craig Hughes and James “Eddie” Hughes, both of Awendaw; her two daughters, Wanda L. Holley of Goose Creek and Linda J. Lillie Mae Tyler, 85 of Loris passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019. Mrs. Tyler was born in Conway a daughter of the late Reedy and Aleen Jones Graham.  She was a member of Dogwood Hill Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and helped with the Good News Club.  Mrs. Tyler also sang in the Good News Quartet for many years and was a devout woman of God.  She was an excellent cook, loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was predeceased by two sons, Randy Lee Tyler and Ricky Dale Tyler; …

Junior Glenn Miller, 83, of Loris passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, at his home. Mr. Miller was born on Dec. 5, 1936, in Boone, N.C., to the late James Frank Miller and the late Clara Pearl Trivette Miller. Mr. Glenn was a longtime member of New Life Baptist Church where he sang in the choir, played the guitar and helped with talent night. He had a passion for gospel music and the mountains. Joseph “Joe” Horgan, 94, of Myrtle Beach was born in Blackpool, Cork City, Ireland, on July 29, 1925, to Patrick and Elizabeth Horgan.  He immigrated to Canada at the age of 22, and after two years, he came to New York.  Joseph served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1954 and was the former owner of P.J. Horgan’s Irish Pub in Sunnyside, NY.  In 1970, he married Mary Byrnes.  They were married for 49 years.
