By John Smithson The North Myrtle Beach Lady Chiefs put up an amazing battle last Tuesday night in their third round division II SCHSL playoff game with Berkley at the NMB gym but lost 58-52 to last year’s state champion. By John Smithson The North Myrtle Beach High School Lady Chiefs lacrosse team opened their spring schedule with a 16-0 victory over visiting West Ashley Monday night at The Hank. The Chiefs scored multiple goals in all four quarters as they kept the visiting Wildcats on defense all night, recovered most of the loose balls and had six different players score in the shutout. The Chiefs first game was postponed due to Friday’s rain, and they opened play on Saturday against Green Sea Floyds.
