The North Myrtle Beach High School boys and girls varsity basketball teams have started the season 3-0, with two road wins last week and a first home win Monday night at home. The North Myrtle Beach High School boys and girls varsity basketball teams begin their 2019-20 regular season this week. The Chiefs teams have two away, non-conference matchups, with visits to Carolina Forest on Tuesday evening and then a trip to Loris High School gym on Friday. The teams return home next week for three home dates beginning Monday against West Brunswick. The Chiefs wrestling team began their matches on Tuesday at Loris High School.

The North Myrtle Beach High School boys and girls varsity cross country teams finished in fourth place at last week’s county championship at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. The Chiefs teams ran against seven other teams in the girls competition and nine teams in the boys race. All races were 5K distances. The teams were made up of seven runners per team and race time for each runner was averaged to get team results.
