Eugene Joseph McKenna Jr., 91, of Little River, died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.  He was born on Jan. 22, 1928, in Bronx, N.Y. to Eugene Joseph Sr. and Margaret Agnes (Hosking) McKenna.  He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Ruth (Murphy) McKenna.  They were married on March 9, 1968, in Elkton, Md. Anthony “Toney” Wayne Posey of North Myrtle Beach passed away at his home on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019. He was born on Dec. 13, 1958. A celebration of Toney’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home in Little River. A visitation with friends will be held at 12 noon before the service. The city’s 2019 paid parking season comes to a close on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. At that time, all paid parking kiosks in public parking lots on either side of Ocean Boulevard will be turned off and the Passport App will no longer accept payments for those lots until next parking season, currently identified as March 1, 2020, through Oct. 31, 2020.
