Lions Club announces ice cream eye screening

Mitigation plan 30-day comment period now open

By Kaye Collins Horry County Emergency Management is seeking the public input on the 2025 draft of the Horry County Multi-Jurisdictional All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. This plan has been drafted in conjunction with all participating municipalities and utility providers throughout the county. Every five years, Horry County updates its Hazard Mitigation Plan – a roadmap to help reduce the impact of disasters like hurricanes, floods, wildfires and severe storms.
