The 36th Annual Living Legends Association met May 17–18 at Fat Harold’s Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach. Friday, May 17, was social night for Living Legend members, nominees and guests. Virginia Belle Fowler, 94, of Loris passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at McLeod Loris Hospital in Loris. Mrs. Fowler was born on April 17, 1925, in Tabor City, N.C., to the late Rossie Fowler and the late Gertrude Harrelson Fowler. She worked as seamstress with Loris Manufacturing until her retirement and was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church.
