The North Myrtle Beach girls basketball team had their season end at the hands of the A.C. Flora Lady Falcons on Tuesday evening at the North Myrtle Beach High School gym. Regina Hardee Vereen, 56, of Little River passed away at her residence on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019. Born in Wilmington, N.C., on Aug. 2, 1962, Regina was the daughter of A. O. and Joyce Russ Hardee. Surviving other than her parents are two sons, Jessey and Jeremey Vereen; one brother, Benjy Hardee (Lynda); two sisters, Sonya Martin (Morgan) and Sherri Holloway (Chris); one grandchild, Saylor Vereen; two nephews; five nieces; two great-nieces; five great-nephews; and her four legged friend, “Tinker Bell”.
