During the Monday, July 21, North Myrtle Beach City Council meeting, Mayor Marilyn Hatley and city council recognized the 12U Softball All-Star Team for their remarkable achievement in winning the State Tournament and becoming the State Champions.
After competing in the 12U District Tournament held at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex, the team earned an invitation to the State Tournament in Dillon, S.C. Facing tough competition, they secured three back-to-back wins to claim the Championship—bringing home the city’s first State Tournament Championship for Softball. They represented North Myrtle Beach with pride, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship.
