The North Myrtle Beach City Council met in a special called meeting on Monday, June 1, at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
There was one item on the consent portion of the agenda:
Resolution: Horry County Multi-jurisdictional All-Hazards Mitigation Plan (APPROVED).
There was one item on the unfinished business agenda:
Ordinance/Second Reading: Amendment to the Towers on the Grove Planned Development Agreement (PDD) creating an oceanfront paid parking lot (APPROVED).
There were nine items on the new business agenda:
A. Ordinance/First Reading: Amendment to Chapter 10, Finance and Taxation, of the Code of Ordinances of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, regarding the fiscal year (APPROVED).
B. Presentation: Audit Presentation by Greene Finney Cauley, LLP.
C. Public Hearing: Public hearing on the FY 2027 Proposed Budget.
D. Ordinance/First Reading: An ordinance setting the tax levy for FY 2027 (APPROVED).
E. Ordinance/First Reading: An ordinance to provide for the adoption of the FY 2027 Proposed Budget (APPROVED).
F. Limited Obligation Bond Ordinance/First Reading: To provide for Accommodations Fee Pledge for Limited Obligation Bonds not to exceed $18,000,000 (APPROVED).
G. Reimbursement Resolution: Expressing the intent of the City of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to reimburse itself from the proceeds of certain tax-exempt obligations for the expenditure by the city of monies for the renovation and expansion of facilities (APPROVED).
H. Ordinance/First Reading: Authorizing the execution, delivery, and performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and other documents relating to the lease-purchase financing of certain vehicles and equipment (APPROVED).
I. Reimbursement Resolution: Expressing the intent of the City of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to reimburse itself from tax-exempt obligations (APPROVED).
