Music on Main returns with patriotic theme

By Angel Sylvester

The City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation proudly presents the return of the beloved Music on Main concert series, bringing free live music to Main Street every Thursday evening from June through September.

Held at the iconic Horseshoe in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, Music on Main has become a cherished summer tradition for residents and visitors alike. Concertgoers are invited to bring their chairs, gather with family and friends and enjoy live performances from some of the region’s favorite bands.

This year’s concert series embraces a special patriotic theme: “Celebrating America’s 250.” As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, Music on Main will honor America’s rich musical heritage and community spirit through unforgettable evenings filled with beach music, R&B, rock, country and patriotic tributes.

Throughout the summer, select bands will perform songs celebrating America’s musical legacy and attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue—especially during the July concerts—to help transform Main Street into a sea of patriotic pride.

The free, family-friendly concerts take place every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June through September.
