Heather Nicole Scronce, 29, of Loris passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Heather was born in Conway on June 20, 1990, a daughter of Blake and Deborah Scronce of Loris. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister and mother. Heather was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Ted and Alberta Scronce. Dallas “Clydie” Wallace Berry, wife of the late C. B. Berry for 62 years and a resident of North Myrtle Beach, since 1945, died on Thursday, March 19, 2020. Deacon Willie James “Buddy” Goings, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach after a second courageous battle with mantle cell lymphoma. Buddy, also known lovingly to some as “Deac,” was born in Loris on July 13, 1952, the son of the late Willie and Kathleen (Hickman) Goings. In his younger days, he served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1981. Willie would then go on to work as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Charles Edward James, 82, of Loris passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at McLeod Loris Hospital. He was born on Feb. 9, 1938, in Loris to the late Leamon Dewey James Sr. and the late Ina Meice Harris James. Mr. James  worked as a farmer and in construction  until his retirement.
