They were feted for breakfast at Spiro’s Pancake House. The group traveled around South Carolina visiting Lions Clubs sharing their cultures and Lion activities. The cost of a Forever stamp rose to 78 cents on Sunday, July 13, 2025. This marks a 5-cent increase from the former price of 73 cents. The hike in price was part of a wider range of rate changes for USPS mailing services. By Kaye Collins Horry County Fire and Rescue (HCFR) were called to the 10000 block of West Highway 19 in the Loris area at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, in response to a car accident involving an ejection and entrapment. The Horry County Police Department provided assistance to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Upon their arrival, HCFR evaluated the situation where a vehicle had overturned and collided with a house, resulting in one ejection and one entrapment. The “Summer National Championships” consist of 150 youth baseball and softball teams from seven states including Ohio, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Baseball consists of 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U teams. Softball consists of 10U, 12U and 14U teams. All teams play four one hour games that determine their seed number.
