LHS hosts Alumni Ball during the Homecoming weekend

By Kaye Collins

Loris High School will host the Alumni Ball during Homecoming weekend, Saturday, Oct. 11, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the high school cafeteria and courtyard. This event, which coincides with Homecoming weekend, aims to unite former Lions for an evening filled with celebration, reminiscence and a sense of community pride.

Attendees will have the pleasure of a buffet featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, accompanied by music from a live DJ, which will foster an ideal environment for alumni to reunite with former friends, exchange stories and create new memories. All LHS alumni are welcome to join and may bring one guest. It is important to note that participants must be at least 18 years old to attend.

Tickets are available for $25 per person and can currently be purchased in person at Loris High School and Loris Middle School. Ticket sales online purchases can be made at http://tinyurl.com/mrym8vzt. There is a $1 online processing fee to make the process even easier for out-of-town alumni. A QR Code is available to purchase tickets.

Organizers hope this event will become a beloved tradition that unites past and present Lions. “The Alumni Ball is a wonderful way for graduates to come back home, celebrate their time at Loris High, and remain part of our school community,” said the organizers.

In addition, if a specific class would like to host a table or be recognized during the event, alumni are encouraged to reach out to Caitlyn Dean at cdean@horrycountyschools.net for more information.

Featuring music, food and an abundance of school spirit, the LHS Alumni Ball is set to be a standout event during Homecoming Weekend. Be sure to seize this chance to honor the origins of our pride—right here at Loris High School.

This marks the second Alumni Ball organized by Loris High School for its former students and graduates. Please prepare to don your finest semi-formal attire to join in the celebration with dancing and socializing.
