The North Myrtle Beach Pilot Club recently hosted its annual Membership Event with a tea party theme. The afternoon was filled with friendship, fun and community spirit as members welcomed guests to learn more about the club and its mission of service.
The event brought together members and eleven wonderful guests for an afternoon of light refreshments, lively conversation and laughter. Attendees enjoyed a fun game with a special prize for the winner and several lucky guests took home door prizes as part of the celebration.
The Membership Event is one of the club’s favorite traditions and a wonderful way to introduce the community to Pilot International, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with brain injuries and brain-related disabilities. Guests learned about the many ways the North Myrtle Beach Pilot Club partners with local organizations and projects to make a difference — all while enjoying a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
“We love hosting this event each year and the tea party was a bit hit,” said Ruth Smith, president of the North Myrtle Beach Pilot Club. “It’s such a fun way to connect with new friends, share what Pilot is all about, and invite others to join us in serving our community.”
The club was thrilled by the enthusiasm of those who attended and many of the guests will be joining the Pilot Family in October and November, bringing new energy, ideas and passion to the club’s mission.
The North Myrtle Beach Pilot Club meets the third Wednesday of each month and always welcomes new members who want to make a difference while having fun and forming lasting friendships.
