Chiefs win Lower State Championship against rivals Myrtle Beach

By John Smithson The #2 North Myrtle Beach Chiefs football team won the Lower State championship last Friday by beating rival Myrtle Beach 37-10 at the Hank Hester Sports Complex. The Chiefs remained undefeated with their ninth win and set up a championship game at Benedict College Saturday at 7:30 pm against upper state winner and top-ranked A.C. Flora. The Chiefs won their first-ever lower state championship and now have their first shot at a AAAA state title. NMB Chiefs 35-10 win over North Augusta sets up lower state matchup with Myrtle Beach

By John Smithson The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs won their second consecutive home football playoff 35-10 over North Augusta last Friday night and they will meet the Myrtle Beach Seahawks this Friday at the Hank Hester Sports Complex for the lower state championship. The Chiefs beat the Seahawks in the final Covid-shortened season three games ago and with that victory they claimed the 6AAAA region championship and the homefield advantage for the first two playoff games. Chiefs beat James Island 41-12 to advance in state playoffs

By John Smithson The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs continued their undefeated season with a first round 41-12 playoff victory over James Island last Friday at the Hank Hester Sports Complex. Chiefs beat Myrtle Beach 34-6 to go undefeated and win 6AAAA championship

By John Smithson The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs football team finished their shortened 2020 regular season with an impressive 34-6 win over the visiting Myrtle Beach Seahawks in their final regular season game at The Hank Hester Sports Complex last Friday evening. The 6-0 Chiefs, ranked number two, defeated the 5-2 Seahawks, ranked number three, and with the win took the 6AAAA championship and a home game into the first round of the playoffs this Friday.
