Water storage tank, transmission line project update is given

Construction on the new Windy Hill area water storage tank is moving forward smoothly. Last week, crews finished installing the steel reinforcement around the new galvanized steel tank structure.

Electrical work is also progressing.

Contractors continued installing wiring through the new conduits that connect the existing pump control panel to the new pump control panels and the current motor control centers in the Booster Pump Station.

Additional conduits were installed in the driveway area behind the station.

North Myrtle Beach residents, continue to watch for construction signs and “Road Closed” warnings as crews continue working on the project.
