Prepare for Thanksgiving with food distribution

The North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club (NMBWC) is once again partnering with the Low Country Food Bank (LCFB) to host a no cost community food market to be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the North Myrtle Beach Farmers Market at 925 First Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach.

This free first-come first-served event offers families and individuals the opportunity to shop a wide selection of nutritious food items to help prepare meals for their families. In addition, club members have been collecting nonperishable side dishes to contribute to the market, helping to ensure that those in our community who are food insecure have access to healthy, quality food for Thanksgiving and beyond.

The North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club and Low Country Food Bank are grateful for the opportunity to assist local individuals and families and to help everyone celebrate a Happy Thanksgiving.
