The Lady Chiefs varsity soccer team went on the road last week for two matches against the heart of their schedule and lost two 2-0 matches to Carolina Forest and St. James.
The Chiefs started their week 3-0 in 6AAAAA region play against Carolina Forest which was undefeated in region play. The Chiefs failed to get a goal in last Tuesday’s match while the Lady Panthers scored once in each half for a 2-0 victory.
The Chiefs goalkeeper Clara Cloninger had 23 saves in the match.
The Chiefs were back on the road last Friday for a match at St. James. The Chiefs again failed to score and lost 2-0. Cloninger again stepped up at goal with 13 saves.
The Chiefs played their last match before the Easter break on Monday at home against Myrtle Beach. They resume play at Socastee on Saturday, April 14.
