Riley Vincent’s senior year of basketball is a dream not realized
Vincent has played on the North Myrtle Beach High School varsity basketball team since she was in the eighth grade. Each year that she played, she progressed in her abilities and eventually became a point guard for the team. She, like most varsity players, had a goal of playing for and winning a state championship.

By JOHN SMITHSON The North Myrtle Beach High School Chiefs football team took time on Sunday night, Jan. 8, to hand out awards and give recognition to the players who performed well throughout the 2022 season. Coach Greg Hill, who took over the head coaching duties last year, presided over the awards ceremony. Coach Hill, despite the 2-9 record, still praised his team throughout the year for not giving up and playing the game to its end, no matter the score.
