For Scott Inman and his fellow North Myrtle Beach Pickleballers, the quickly-emerging sport they have grown to love is something they want to share with as many people as possible.

One of the hottest tickets in town for kids over the summer just went on sale in North Myrtle Beach.

A major grant of nearly $10,000 was awarded to Keep Horry County Beautiful to aid in their litter prevention and community outreach programs, as well as help fund infrastructure projects that make improvements to the county’s facilities throughout the year.

The course, a longtime locals’ favorite, will close on June 20, before expecting to re-open the following day, as they can continue to make additional major improvements to the club that has already seen a recently remodeled clubhouse and restaurant.

North Myrtle Beach City Council met on Monday, March 21, and passed first reading of an amendment to the Sandridge Tract agreement, as well as giving final approval to ordinances that ban fires on public beaches and will rezone Crescent Beach to allow more commercial development.
